Once the design is established and the sewn product is ready for production, the first step in the production process is Cutting the Fabric.
At Block by Block Industries we understand the direct connection between cutting fabric and cutting costs. Just as in the design process, careful consideration is given to the best methods for fabric measuring and fabric cutting that will increase production and decrease waste. For the cutting to be accurate, a marker and spread will be produced prior to the cut.
We use industrial hand cutting equipment for prototyping and smaller production quantities, and can migrate to full Gerber cutting tables for larger volumes.
Block by Block Industries has the capability to cut large and small quantities of fabrics including:
- Knit Fabrics
- Woven Fabrics
- Bedding Fabrics
- Cotton Webbing
- Nylon Webbing
Once the cutting of all materials needed to develop the sewn product are complete, the sewing aspect of production will begin.
